     As skies darken early in the short winter day the Holiday Lights turn the bare branched trees green on a blustery warm day.  Pipes below keep the ice frozen.

Mass Senator E. Warren Performs "I'm an Indian, Too" - At Boson County Fair - 18 Sept 2019

Boson County Fair had a treat when Senator Elizabeth Warren, who is running for president in 2020, took to the stage in a good-natured  song number poking fun at her cultural appropriation of Native American Indian identity to get a job at Harvard Law School as the "First Woman of Color" despite being a blonde blue-eyed European.  "I'm an Indian Too" is a song from the 1946 musical Annie Get Your Gun , by Irving Berlin . It was originally performed by Ethel Merman . [1] It is sung by the main character Annie after Sitting Bull adopts her into the Sioux tribe It is typical of mid-20th-century views of Native Americans , and is sometimes considered racist and demeaning from a contemporary perspective, although others see it as a mildly satirical attack on racial stereotyping . Mayor Welsh Insists "Pluto is a Planet" - Liberal Democrats Denounce Science Denying

Bosnon Mayor Marty Welsh has applauded one brave NASA administrator who is refusing to bow to the prevailing scientific consensus, and is risking potential ostracization or, worse still, online ridicule, for proudly declaring that “Pluto is a planet.”  "Pluto is a traditional planet, and that is what will be taught in Boson public schools," said Mayor Welsh.  Saturday, August 24, 2019 marked 13 years to the day since Pluto was demoted from having the status of a planet to being assigned that of a dwarf planet, by the International Astronomical Union (our solar system’s resident’s association of scientific fuddy-duddies).  At the end of a scientific conference, after many delegates had left,  a hot-shot young academic looking to make a name for himself 'deconstructing' what past astronomers had accomplished rigged a hasty vote to demote the planet.  People claimed that there was no way Pluto should be classified in the same category as gas giant Jup
