Dry Ice COVID-19 Cure Party Ends With Six in Hospital - Sauna Pool Cloud Devoid of Oxygen


Boson, MASS: A popular blogger who calls herself a 'social influencer' has been cited by police for holding a gathering with more than ten people.  Becky Vlader is a pharmacist who has a popular blog that often features home concocted alternatives to over the counter medicines.

Three people have passed out and three more collapsed on the floor so that six are in hospital after a COVID-19 suppression party had unforeseen consequences. Video shows dry ice being poured into a pool, inadvertently creating a carbon dioxide gas chamber.  People breathing in the air full of carbon dioxide could not get enough oxygen and could be asphyxiated.

The incident occurred at Becky Vlader's home sauna late on Friday, 17 April 2020, Vlader, an Instagram blogger with over a hundred thousand subscribers, was celebrating her 29th birthday with her family and friends.

Becky Vlader is a certified pharmacist, blogging about pharmacies and drugs. Ms Vlader is known for posting tips about how to save money on pharmaceutical products on her Instagram page. 

Becky explained that any COVID-19 viruses on air droplets would be killed by the carbon dioxide of the 'dry ice.'

Michael Vlader, Becky's husband, helped develop the 'dry ice' for the de-COVID-19 event.  

Michael presented the guest in sauna with protective suits and dust masks and googles and invited them to a special event in a pool with water being filled with ‘dry ice’ which is soldid carbon dioxide.


The thick mist was supposed to be a visual treat to take photos and feature on Instragram and other social media.

The video file shows the people at the party crowding around the pool wearing ineffective ‘protective’ suits that were more theatrical than effective.  Michael Vlader pours the ‘dry ice’ carbon dioxide into the water and a heavy mist is visible.

Someone reads safety instructions in a mocking tone warning that ‘dry ice’ is a hazardous substance.

Michael Vlader then jumps into the pool and disappears beneath the mist to come up again briefly and then goes down below the mist about ten feet away from the crowd at the edge of the pool. .
“He’s dead; he’s not with us anymore,” one person says joking and everyone laughs.  However, it soon became apparent that Michael Vlader had passed out and would die if he did not get oxygen immediately.

Two others dropped down below the fog, and three people felt ill and left the area immediately with help from others.  Several ambulances took the sick to Boson City Hospital. 

Questions have been raised on social media as to whether the two educated people should have known better than to play with dry ice.

One commentator speculated that the increasing numbers of 'followers' that Becky Vlader was getting on social media were causing her to begin to lose sight of basic chemistry - which is her real job.

Jack rabbits overrun  After Animal Rights activists and volunteers helped bring wild Jackrabbits to Half Moon Island in Quincy Bay the animals began to proliferate.  Almost every island in Boston Harbor now has numbers of the hungry rabbits.  Nearby in Quincy and Boson the rabbits are eating there way through peoples gardens and even lawns.   .
