Skate Park Covered In Sand As SWAT Team Stands By - Boson Police Flummoxed by Bogus 3D Sand Drawing On North Wollaston Beach
(UPI) "It's every policeman's nightmare," Officer Philip Johnson said as he spoke of a call to North Wollaston Beach concerning a 'pop up' skate park violating 'social distancing' and 'shelter in place' advisories from the state and local governments. "We got to the beach and it was a hoax. The 'skate park' was an optical illusion in the sand. The skaters apparently think that's funny," the officer said shaking his head sadly.
The youth who like to skate raised money through a foundation to build a skate park across from North Wollaston Beach so that skaters would have a place to go besides the cement ramps of the New City Hall. In the past two weeks there have been repeated calls to the police to report youths skating in the park and perhaps coming within six feet of each other and maybe not wearing masks. The skaters say that they are out of school and out of work and out of patience with their families at home. Why not go out and skate in the fresh air with a distance between each skater?
"They are breathing heavily into the air and may be spreading the virus," Boson Department of Health. Boson Police assembled a SWAT team to escort dump trucks filled with sand to place around the ramps and paths in the skate park Officer Philip Johnson explained that many of the skaters expressed 'oppositional' culture and anti-police state ideas and outright anarchism. "From t-shirts with Anti-fa slogans to spray painted 'fuck the police' graffiti we have a picture of the skaters as police and society haters."
The Boson Department of Public Works brought in several dump trucks filled with sand and spread the sand over the skate ramps and paths.
One anonymous skater said, "we still have bikes that can handle sand, we ride up and down North Wollaston Beach on the sand all the time. I love when high tide is coming in."
Officer Johnson seemed frustrated by the opposition, "We are simply asking people, do you support your local police state?"
"We just want to help people and keep them alive and healthy." A single tear rolled down Officer Johnson's cheek. "Help us by simply obeying."
