Recent State Mental Patient Caught Lurking Around Mayor Welsh Cabin as President Trump Visits - Sent Dozen's of Threatening and Incomprehensible Text Messages - 14 Oct 2019

Image
A longed for long weekend retreat for President Trump and local supporter Boson's Republican Mayor Martin Welsh was less peaceful when a man with mental problems was arrested in the woods of the East Blue Hills. Mayor Welsh expressed frustration, "They're coming out of the woods.  People are being driven nuts by the present toxic political environment." When asked if President Trump and the mayor himself were not adding to the current stress of the toxic political environment Mayor Welsh shook his head and wagged his finger at this reporter. The mayor seemed to dig into his upper-class boarding school classical education and quoted Aristotle, in Classical Greek. "Ο άνθρωπος είναι πολιτικό ζώο. Ένας άνθρωπος που ζει μόνος είναι είτε ένα κτήνος είτε ένας Θεός" “Man is a political animal. A man who lives alone is either a Beast or a God” ― Aristotle, Politics After using Google Translate, this reporter...

Trump Joins Boson Mayor Welsh in East Blue Hills Cabin Retreat After Kurdish Assassination Threats - 13 Oct 2019

Image
Boson MA — Trading the White House for a few small buildings in a remote wooded area only accessible by ATV,  President Trump agreed to a Columbus Day weekend visit to Boson Mayor Martin Welsh's cabin after an invitation for relaxed viewing of New England fall foliage. The Democrat dominated US House of Representatives is mounting an impeachment inquiry against the president.  In addition, US backed long time ally Turkey's invasion of Syrian territory occupied by US short term allied Kurds has upset many people. "A few days in the woods will clear my head," said the president.  "Think of what thoughts came to Henry David Thoreau when he went to stay in a simple home in the woods." In Washington DC things are not quiet.  "Give war a chance!" tweeted Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.  "US soldiers must stand and fight with our Kurdish allies against our Turkish allies. We can't cut and run.  We must support our allies! US soldiers hav...

First they came for SpongeBob, and I did not protest, then ... - UMass Boson Prof Elucidates the Racist Colonialist Tropes Underlying Childish Cartoon (Boson Worker) 13 Oct 2019

SpongeBob SquarePants is a subliminal message vehicle to normalize Western colonialism and US imperialism.  Beloved by children and stoners the world over, the wacky adventures of the animated sea sponge actually mask a “violent,” “racist” message, one prof claims. “SpongeBob Squarepants and his friends play a role in normalizing the settler colonial takings of indigenous lands while erasing the ancestral Bikinian people from their nonfictional homeland,” University of Massachusetts at Boson anthropology professor Molly  Barker, who happens to be a cousin of Massachusetts Governor Charles Baker, wrote in his paper called ‘Unsettling SpongeBob and the Legacies of Violence on Bikini Bottom.’ According to Professor Barker, Spongebob’s residing in the underwater town of Bikini Bottom is disturbingly similar to the US’ use of the Bikini Atoll in the Marshall Islands for nuclear weapons testing in the 1940s. This is based on a fan theory that the real Bikini...

Why One Should Never Buy A Boat - by Mayor Martin Welsh (Boson Harbor News) 12 Oct 2019

Image
Learn from others mistakes, you will never live long enough to make them all yourself - Mayor Welsh Buying a boat is expensive. There’s the ticket price, tax, and, unless there’s some kind of flood, you’re going to have to pay to get your new purchase from the store back to your house, as most boats don’t have wheels. You’d think they’d tell you that before you buy a boat, but they don’t. Maintaining a boat is expensive. Your vessel won’t keep itself in working order. No, you have to pay someone else to do that, or know how to do it yourself. And, believe me, it’ll take more than just a few lucky whacks with a wrench to keep your boat afloat. Also, you need a place to float the boat. Unless you don’t mind looking at it up on cinder blocks in your back yard. Your neighbors might, but they’ll be nice to you about it until they realize that you can only take them on a boat ride of the mind. And that from your position behind the tiller you can see di...
