(AP) A Boson 'freedom' protester was arrested for starting a fire without a permit as he deliberately set himself alight on Boson Commons to oppose new anti-smoking restrictions.  People can no longer smoke cigarettes on other tobacco products in the public park.  If a person has a medical cannabis card they can smoke a 'joint' in the park.

 Boson City Council ratifies election results confirming Mayor Martin Welsh' re-election despite City Council President Ema Strickland's claim that Russia helped reelect the mayor.   Councilor Strickland, who is openly gay, also noted the irony of Mayor Welsh making his inaugural speech from Boson's Trump Tower as a guest of what the failed Democratic mayoral candidate called, "the failed fascist dictator unpresident Trump."  When this reporter asked, "how is that ironic?"  City Council President Ema Strickland, who is openly gay, has called on Mayor Martin Welsh to "take down that tree!"  A visibly angry Councilor Strickland, who is openly gay, said during a Zoom presser, "The celebration of Christmas in an ostentatious way is a 'dog whistle' of racist White Nationalism that is designed to make People of Color and Muslims feel unsafe."  

 

 Boson City Council President Ema Strickland reacted in horror to the public protest on Boson Commons where a dummy that was suppose to be her 'effigy' was burned.   Far Right protesters who support President Trump and Boson Mayor Welsh were rallying against the continued efforts of Councilor Strickland to have the mayor election overturned.   Councilor Strickland has alleged that "Russian interference" resulted in her losing the election under "questionable circumstances."    While the rally did not have a permit and setting anything on fire is against Boson Commons fire regulations, the police decided to hold back and let the one hour rally proceed uninterrupted by police. Councilor Strickland, who openly campaigned to 'defund the police,' was outraged by the lack of law enforcement.  "We did send in a social worker to talk to the person with the effigy," a police spokesperson said.  "We haven't gotten her report yet. "

  A naked alleged fugitive found by two fishermen sitting on a tree branch in the Neponset River's  crocodile-infested waters has been slapped with additional charges of breaching bail and aggravated assault.  A group of over five hundred protesters took to the streets of Boson to show support for President Trump and to object to widespread election irregularities in many states. (Reuters) Boson International Airport control tower and incoming pilots spotted the infamous 'jet pack man' over Quincy bay and North Wollaston Beach where the city was setting off fireworks that were livestreamed on social media as a way for people to welcome the New Year while under house arrest.  A NORAD US Air Force fighter jet was scrambled to intercept the unauthorized 'jet pack man.'  As the plane flew over the fireworks area of North Wollaston Beach it was apparently hit by a large rocket that was part of the show.  The lucky shot, or unlucky shot, incapacitated the plane and the pilot ejected and parachuted down to Half Moon Island as the livestream followed his descent with the bright New Years eve moon in the background.   Some reports claim that a missile was launched from the jet as it crashed, and the rocket hit a nuclear power plant cooling tower across town.   Unfortunately a flock of seagulls seems to have flown across the path of the explo...
