Heavy Rain Floods Neponset River - Boson's Most Famous 'Witness Protection' Member Seth Rich Flooded Out of Hideout

Image
27 February 2020 (AP) Early morning rain caused the swollen Neponset River to overflow its banks and a number of Boson buildings were flooded.  One victim of the waters was Boson's notable Wikileaker Seth Rich who helped defeat H. Clinton in the 2016 presidential election by leaking Democratic National Committee emails to the Wikileaks website. Seth Rich, and friends in the intelligence community, faked his own death in Washington DC in 2016.  He then went 'on the run' and lived in a number of undisclosed situations before coming to Boson with a guarantee of safety from Boson's Trump supporting Mayor Welsh. Seth Rich relaxes by the Neponset River as his home was flooded on Thursday, 27 February 2020  While Democrats blame Seth Rich for the defeat of H. Clinton and the election of 'fascistic' Donald Trump some advocates of an open society who oppose Trump see Seth Rich as a hero.   "The voting public should have as much information as p

Boson Welcomes Sleestak Immigrants – Liberal City Councilor Ema Strickland Says ‘They Will Fit In’ – Eventually

Image
Due to a wave of unrest in their homeland a number of Sleestak refugees have been allowed to resettle in Boson, Massachusetts.  Liberal Democrat City Councilor Ema Strickland used her own private charity to seek out the immigrants and urged Washington to make Boson a place that would accommodate the newcomers.    Councilor Strickland has assured Boson that every effort will be made to help the newcomers adapt to life in the country. As a first step Ms Strickland has urged the city to allow the newcomers to vote in November's mayoral election in which she is a candidate running against conservative Mayor Martin Welsh.  Councilor Strickland has accused Mayor Welsh of being a 'racist' against the Islamic race and Mexican race because of his opposition to immigrants.  Mayor Welsh counters, "I am only against illegal immigration, not immigrants who come through the process and enter legally.  Boson has historically welcomed many immigrants, my own forebears

Oligarch Bloomberg's Boson Campaign Office Vandalized - Spray Painted 'Oligarch' Defaces Building - 25 Feb 2020

Image
(AP) 25 Feb 2020: The Boson, Massachusetts campaign storefront office was vandalized late on Monday night.  Earlier in the day Mayor Martin Welsh had announced that he was switching parties and as a newly registered Democrat was endorsing Michael Bloomberg for president. While people routinely call wealthy businessmen in Russia 'oligarchs' the application of the term to American's 'Job Creators' is something new.  Bloomberg's campaign staff has blamed Socialist Bernard Sanders elevating the term to the national stage by uttering the word on stage at the Las Vegas Democratic Debated last week. "I think that Bernie has a real responsiblity to counter what his supporters are doing on the streets," said the Boson for Bloomberg head organizer John Welsh, who is Mayor Welsh's cousin.  "We have sent a bill for the cleaning of the graffiti paint to the Boson for Bernie campaign.  "I also think there is a hint of anti-semitism in Bernie&

Bloomberg Tells Boson Mayor Welsh - 'I'll drone my critics and support the banks' - 25 Feb 2020

Image
Boson MASS: The newly turned Democrat Mayor Welsh is being confronted with an online audio file that shows presidential contender Michael Bloomberg bragging about how he would use presidential powers. Soundcloud audio file sharing site features a man speaking to Boson Mayor Marty Welsh along with a voice that sounds like Bloomberg dreaming of what he could do as president. "Being mayor of New York City was expensive, but worth it," the voice of Bloomberg says, "driving through red lights with a police escort, riding in parades with everyone waving, sending squads of armed men to deliver subpoenas, and that sort of thing." Over a recent series of meetings with Mayor Welsh, Bloomberg convinced the mayor to switch from the Republican to the Democratic Party.  Bloomberg said that conservatives had a better chance of getting a pro-business agenda passed under Democrats.  Bloomberg has been both a Democrat and a Republican, depending on what he thought would wor

SHOCKER! Boson Republican Mayor Welsh Switches to Democrat - Endorses Bloomberg For President After Large Campaign Contribution

Image
Boson MASS (AP) In a political upset the conservative Trump supporting Republican mayor of the city has switched parties and come out with an endorsement of Democratic Party candidate for president Michael Bloomberg. "I went into city hall's election department and changed my party affiliation this morning at 8:00 o'clock as soon as the office opened," Mayor Welsh declared at an impromptu press conference in a hallway next to city's records area.  "I am also announcing my support for Mike Bloomberg for the nomination to be the presidential nominee of the Democratic Party." While Mayor Welsh is up for re-election in the fall changing parties does not make any difference in the election because the city has an open non-party mayoral election.  The top two winners of the primary election in September face off against each other in the non-partisan race in November. Standing nearby the other top candidate for the mayoral spot was visibly angry.  City

Boson Green Party Global Warming Protest Turnout Low - Freezing Temperatures Thwart Climate Justice Activists - 21 Friday 2020

Image
Boson MASS: A previously scheduled rally for "Climate Justice Now!" drew a small crowd next to North Wollaston Red Line T Station on Thursday, 20 February 2020.  The temperatures were below 20 degrees and many supporters who had indicated they would attend apparently decided to stay home or stay warm somewhere else.  Rally organizers said, "We are in this struggle to save the planet for the long haul.  We do not measure success by the turnout for one protest on one unusually cold day."  A speaker with a bullhorn addressed about a dozen and a half protesters.  Very few passers by stop to listen because of the brutal cold. "Remember this local cold weather is just that, the weather.  We are interested in the climate as a whole.  It is very hot right now in Australia," a woman speaking told the crowd. "Isn't it summer in Australia?" someone from the back of the crowd shouted. "That is the season," the speakers shouted ba

Boson Marathon - Woman Who 'Won' Last Years Foot Race - Wins Again - Claims 'Body Shaming' By Critics

Image
The persistent runner who came in first place last year at the Boson Marathon on President's Day has crossed the finish line again as the Women's Winner. When people said that it was hard to believe that the some-what over weight woman was the winner of a marathon, or even a runner, defenders responded with claims of 'fat shaming.' A spokeswoman for the 26.2-mile race confirmed to the Boson Globe on Monday that Amy Clarke’s results are under review, though she wouldn’t offer a specific reason. Clarke, who denies cheating at the Boson event, crossed the finish line Sunday after almost three hours, at 2:59:08. But the red flag came after she drastically changed pace midway through the race as recorded by GPS trackers embedded in the runners number bibs.  While some people respond to the cheating with a 'who cares' attitude others point out that not only does Clarke raise money through crowd funding to pay for trips around the country she a

UMass Boson Prof: 'The only solution for climate change is letting the human race become extinct'

Image
A Boson academic has proposed a radical new way to solve climate change – letting humanity become extinct. Mortricia McCormack, a professor of continental philosophy at the University of Massachusetts at Boson, has just released her new book The Anti-human Manifesto , which will officially be launched in Cambridge today (Wednesday, February 5 2020 ). The book argues that due to the damage done to other living creatures on Earth, we should start gradually phasing out reproduction. But rather than offering a bleak look at the future of humanity, it has generated discussion due to its joyful and optimistic tone, as it sets out a positive view for the future of Earth - without mankind. It also touches on several hot-button topics, from religion and veganism to the concept of identity politics, tying these into how the creation of a hierarchal world among humans has left us blind to the destruction we are causing to our habitat and other forms of life.
