Newberry Street Art Gallery Displays Sculpture of Donald Trump Having Sex With Miss Universe (Boson After Dark) 30 Oct 2020


 

(UPI) A lewd sculpture depicting President Donald Trump having sex with a mock Miss Universe has been put on display in an art gallery in Central Boson. The sculpture will be shown at the BloGo Revue until election day on November 3rd and was dubbed by the artist the “Official Presidential Send Off”.


In an exclusive interview, visiting British artist Alison Jackson told Boson After Dark that her raunchy depiction of the American leader gives people the opportunity to people to see “everything they’ve imagined but never seen before, come to life before their very eyes.”

Alison Jackson had previously created art illustrating President Trump's visit with the English Royal Family. 



“The thing about this sculpture, it’s like throwing up a mirror to people of what Donald Trump does and represents. He represents grabbing women by the pussy, and his bad behaviour with women. So when people see this sculpture they say that’s exactly what he’s going to be doing in the Oval Office,” Jackson said.

“This is what you expect, this is what you imagine of Donald Trump. This is what he does best,” she added.


 

As for Trump's war threats against Communist China, or crippling economic war on populist Venezuela, or sanctions on nuclear armed Russia, Jackson had nothing to say.  "I'm not really interested in politics," she explained.  "I want to express feelings as an artist.  I want to boldly challenge the President of the United States when no one else would stand up to him.  That's who I am.  I am not afraid of Trump."  


The gallery’s windows have been blacked out aside from two peepholes, for pedestrians to stare into and get a glimpse of the simulated sex act. Next to the peephole is a mock road sign warning that reads: “Caution Slippery Politicians”.


 

One passerby told the Boson After Dark reporter: “I think it captures 2020 perfectly, I certainly think it captures the essence of Trump in his entirety.”

Another was more critical, saying: “I think it lacks subtlety, it’s brutal, to the point, but it’s a bit like Banksy, it says something very obvious, in not a very clever way.”

Jackson was reluctant to criticise Trump too harshly, saying: “Would I say that Donald Trump is a misogynistic, sexist pig? Well…everybody says that.”

“I’m very interested in how we love to hate him. You know we all slam Donald Trump, say he’s the most awful president, blah blah, but why don’t people switch off their television sets?” Jackson questioned.

“Why do they stay glued to it to watch him, switch off, throw the magazine away, don’t switch on that news, don’t appeal to him, don’t reply to his Twitter, he’d go away then.

“Donald Trump cannot exist, he cannot thrive unless everyone is looking at him, switch off and he will do something else. He will get a TV series on Netflix or something,” Jackson proclaimed.

Jackson, who was a guest of a UMass Boson art professor who is also a Democratic Party ward committee person for the Pleasant Valley neighborhood, did admit that while she did not necessarily want President Trump to win, she placed a bet on him to secure re-election, saying: “I think he’s going to win”.

'Islam Is Right About Gays' Leaflets Taped To Signs Around Town - Police Launch Manhunt - 28 Sept 2019

Boson, MA: Some residents are outraged that leaflets bearing the words "Islam Is Right About Gays" have been fixed to telephone poles and parking signs around the city.  One angry woman took a photo of the sign before ripping it down and bringing the leaflet to the police station to show police. "This is not 'free speech'" a visibly angry woman said.  "This is 'hate speech' aimed at both the Muslim race, and gay people." Police have said that they will see if there were any witnesses to the criminal trespassing committed when the papers were affixed to the utility poles, which are private property, and the street signs, which are owned by the city.
