"Innocent Trees Are Being Enlisted In Trump's Fascist Army" - Boson Green Party Outraged At Trump Flags Waving High In Trees


 (AP) President Trump tweeted a thank you to "an anonymous tree climber" who placed Trump campaign signs and flags in hard to reach places.  

Trump supporters have made claims that people are stealing their political lawn signs at night.  

Local rumors have speculated that the Secret Tree Climber is actually Mayor Marty Welsh who is a Trump supporter and worked as a utility pole climber before he was appointed to the city council decades ago.  The mayor's cousin Vinnie also owns a landscaping and arbor maintenance company that does extensive work for the city.  Vinnie Welsh also owns the recently closed Vincent's Nightclub that could not stay in business with COVID lockdowns, so people speculate he has time on his hands.  


 

 


 


Boson Green Party, which has endorsed City Council President Ema Strickland for mayor in Tuesday's vote, was outraged that 'innocent trees are being drafted into Trump's fascist army.'   

Boson Antifa has promised to 'burn down any tree with a Trump flag flying.' 


 

US Law on Placement of Flags

Section 7, part c: No other flag or pennant should be placed above or, if on the same level, to the right of the flag of the United States of America, except during church services conducted by naval chaplains at sea, when the church pennant may be flown above the flag during church services for the personnel of the Navy. No person shall display the flag of the United Nations or any other national or international flag equal, above, or in a position of superior prominence or honor to, or in place of, the flag of the United States at any place within the United States or any Territory or possession thereof: Provided, That nothing in this section shall make unlawful the continuance of the practice heretofore followed of displaying the flag of the United Nations in a position of superior prominence or honor, and other national flags in positions of equal prominence or honor, with that of the flag of the United States at the headquarters of the United Nations.

'Islam Is Right About Gays' Leaflets Taped To Signs Around Town - Police Launch Manhunt - 28 Sept 2019

Boson, MA: Some residents are outraged that leaflets bearing the words "Islam Is Right About Gays" have been fixed to telephone poles and parking signs around the city.  One angry woman took a photo of the sign before ripping it down and bringing the leaflet to the police station to show police. "This is not 'free speech'" a visibly angry woman said.  "This is 'hate speech' aimed at both the Muslim race, and gay people." Police have said that they will see if there were any witnesses to the criminal trespassing committed when the papers were affixed to the utility poles, which are private property, and the street signs, which are owned by the city.
