Mass Gov Baker Asks Churchgoers to Wear Yellow Crosses to Get Through State Police Sunday Shutdown Checkpoints

Massachusetts Governor Charles Baker has asked all people who plan to attend church services after the lockdown begins to ease in a couple of weeks to wear a yellow cross to let police and health authorities know what business they are about.

While some Christians have claimed that their religion commands them to gather with others to proclaim a belief in God, the state has said that people could get together online.

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts hopes to have portable temperature devices to accurately measure peoples temperatures at police health checkpoints.  People who are found to have a fever will be quarantined on the spot.  Health vans will be parked at all police check points and patients will be concentrated at the former US Army camp at Fort Devins.
