(Higginson Boson landed on Half Moon Island in 1630 to found the Boson Crown Colony) (UPI) The Higginson Boson Statue was not pulled down Saturday, 20 June 2020, as promised.  The wide base of the statue was too difficult for the amateur statue topplers to overcome.  Construction labor unions contacted to help with the demolition claimed they would have to be paid overtime and night time pay rates which the impoverished protesters simply could not raise in a short amount of time.  A GoFundMe page has been set up to pay for the statue's destruction.  Members of the crowd laughed at the suggestion that they should take construction trades classes to learn how to safely demolish works of public art. After numerous rescue missions to help wayward novice woodsmen and woodswomen in the East Blue Hills Reservation the Massachusetts State Police have used a helicopter to lift an abandoned school bus out of the woods. The bus was used by a hapless homeless person who lived in the bus and kept a diary as he drank himself to death during the winter of 2002. When spring came and the body was discovered by a hiker and the diary was sent to the dead man's family and a novelist used the entries to craft a complete book about living in the woods and drinking.  The original book was called "Two Months in the Woods" to echo the Henry David Thoreau work "Two Years In The Woods."  Robin Williams was then featured in the movie "Shouting at the Trees" which spread the story around the world and made drinking in the woods 'a thing.'   Soon people from many countries were coming to Massachusetts to visit the 'Magic Bus.'   More tourists and...

 (UPI) A Boson vegan couple who call themselves 'Omni-arborists' have been charged with chopping down an eating over 20,000 trees bordering the East Blue Hills Reservation.  While technically not part of the state park, the area is still a section of protected forested lands. Jen and Eric Sample are currently out on bail while awaiting charges.  There is no lawyer listed at the Boson Federal Courthouse who represents them.   The couple built their house with wood they cut down, built a barn and other outbuildings from the rough wood, heat and cook with wood, and sell wood chips to the eco-friendly Boson Renewable Energy Plant.  The wood chip burning facility in Boson uses wood to ignite natural gas run turbines and gets large subsidies from the Federal government.
